12 Child Care Centers (Taska) are expected to start operations in Terengganu

KUALA TERENGGANU - A total of 12 Child Care Centers (Taska) are expected to start operations in Terengganu starting June 1 after it closed since the enactment of the Movement Control Order (CPP) on March 18.

Acting chairman of the Terengganu State Private Education Educators Association (PPTNT), Ummi Rahimah Hassan, said all the state-run Taskas provided some standard operating procedures (SOPs) that parents who send their children to the care center should follow.

"So far none of the 12 Taskas are ready to return to operation on June 1.

"Others choose to start operations again on June 8 and 14," he said when contacted by Sinar Harian today.

He said only Taska was registered and had a certificate of operation.

"Each state must also comply with the SOP that has been set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Department of Social Welfare (JKM)," he said.

In the meantime, he said, there are several SOPs that have been set up before sending the children to Taska, arriving at the nursery and while picking up the children at the nursery.

"Parents need to check their health and body temperature to make sure their child is healthy before being sent to Taska," he said.
