KUALA TERENGGANU - The Terengganu government is currently developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to allow people to eat at restaurants or eateries in the state.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the decision would be announced in the near future.
"God willing, the state government will allow food in restaurants and restaurants in Terengganu.
"SOP and preparations are underway and we will announce it in the near future," he said in a statement today.
However, he emphasized that there are certain things that need to be taken into account if the people in the state want it.
"His permission was not to sit for hours talking with just a cup of tea.
"The most important thing is to have the mind of the businessmen and visitors and to ensure the safety and health of all," he said.
