KUALA TERENGGANU, May 24 - The Chief Minister, Dato 'Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar suggested the use of various technology applications to communicate and communicate during Aidilfitri to replace the culture of returning home.

"I'm sure we all miss the festive atmosphere of Aidilfitri by visiting relatives while enjoying their favorite cakes and dishes.
"Likewise, the Terengganu children in the countryside will definitely want to go back to the village to meet their parents who have been left behind for the sake of pursuing their ambitions and careers in the city.
"However, we have to sacrifice our feelings for the sake of national security for a while. We should all adopt new norms including the most important day for Muslims, Hari Raya Aidilfitri," he said.
He said this in a statement issued in the Aidilfitri message of the Terengganu Menteri Besar yesterday.
Therefore, he said the sophistication of various applications technology can be used to communicate and feel the 'presence' alongside the beloved parents and family.
"At the State Government level, we sometimes have to make some difficult decisions between the safety of the people and the continuation of economic activities that impact the people and the state of Terengganu.
However, we believe the Conditional Movement Control (PKPB) Order can provide relief to the business sector and a number of other sectors thus driving a more positive economic growth, "he said.
He also expressed his appreciation to all frontline personnel who worked hard and sacrificed their whole lives.
"Thank you to the people of Terengganu, and Malaysia in general for always obeying the instructions.
A month of fasting during Ramadan certainly makes us more disciplined, more obedient, and more responsible for our surroundings. Prove that Muslims are the best and exemplify all aspects of life.
