COVID-19: New Case In Terengganu Returns One Digit

 


KUALA TERENGGANU - [Updated] The daily figure of the new COVID-19 case in Terengganu is back to one digit with four infections reported, today.

The Malaysian Ministry of Health in a statement said, as of 12 noon yesterday, the number of new positive cases in Malaysia was 2,192 and six deaths.

“While the number of active cases with COVID-19 infection is 32,076.

"3,414 cases were cured," the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Terengganu State Health Department (JKNT) said, four positive cases and 44 new recovery cases recorded today made there are 382 active COVID-19 cases in Terengganu with a total of 3,135 cases.

"380 active cases are in stable condition and given regular treatment. Two cases received treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) and one of them needed a breathing aid, ”said JKNT.

According to JKNT, the number of active clusters is 21 clusters.

"Cluster with the addition of new cases today, namely Bukit Petiti Cluster three cases and Pulau Rusa Cluster one case," the statement explained.

JKNT also informed that the cases recorded today involved three in Kuala Terengganu and one in Marang.
