KUALA TERENGGANU, February 24 - The COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer-BioNTech will arrive in Terengganu tomorrow, February 25, 2021 and the first phase of the injection is scheduled for February 26.
Menteri Besar, Dato 'Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said, vaccination work under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and Terengganu State Health Department (JKNT) will begin with frontline staff including those selected .
"It is understood that the Menteri Besar will be the first person to be vaccinated.
"This first phase will also involve 15,000 people who have been compiled by the relevant parties," he said.
He said this when met by the media after the State Executive Council (MMKN) at Wisma Darul Iman this morning.
Commenting further, he said the details of the place and time of the first injection were determined by JKNT.
"All State Assemblymen (ADUN) will be managed with a 'frontliner' in their respective places.
"All assemblymen do not think the party will be scheduled for injections for those who volunteer," he added, report by TRDI
